12 SHOT TIGER

Adam and Nathan's introductory conversation centered around their draw towards music and it quickly became obvious that they should start a band to feed their creative interests. While they started working to develop initial material and balance their respective styles, they sought out and recruited the multi-instrumentalist Garrett to play drums and Peter - a former tech student of theirs - to play bass. As a duo, Garrett and Peter provide a tight rhythm section to lay the foundation for the band’s sound. Along with Nathan’s clean, biting guitar and Adam’s dynamic voice, 12 Shot Tiger produces music that can both mellow into a dark, tormenting groove or provide a driving, energetic hook that forces the listener to move.

12 Shot Tiger's foremost motivation is simple: delivering great live performances. The band believes that an audience should share an emotional bond with the artists, whether it be energetic, remorseful, or a sense of awe and wonder. Influenced by bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Thrice, Muse, and the Foo Fighters, and with ties to earlier genre-defining bands like Nirvana, Radiohead, Pink Floyd, and The Beatles, 12 Shot Tiger aims to push the limits of rock music without relying on an expansive array of instruments or effects.

Having recently recorded their first demo tracks, 12 Shot Tiger is now playing the hallowed music venues of Toronto. They are looking to capture the attention of those seeking music that makes them move, evokes a feeling, and resonates with them beyond the show.
